Through members contributions, golf tournaments, and silent auctions the OAOP built their own building.  Ground was broken during the Oklahoma Optometry Centennial year in 2006.  The OAOP staff moved into the new facility in February 2007.  Of the 7000 square foot building, the OAOP portion is 2800 square foot, plus a 1700 square foot Continuing Education room that seats up to 50 guests.
